Ramneek Wig is an author and Gold Medalist in Yoga and Naturopathy. Ramneek Wig suffered from cancer three times. The second time he got cancer, Ramneek Wig got a bone marrow transplant done in the United States. Even after the Bone Marrow Transplant, the cancer came back in the year 2003. The third time he got cancer the cure rate was not even 1 %. Finally, Ramneek Wig resorted to Pranayama, Food Therapy and Meditation. Now it’s been several years, he is completely healthy and cancer-free.

The word prana stands for the vital energy present within each one of us. In gross terms, it can be easily understood as the breath. Ayama stands for regulation, direction and control. Thus pranayama is a technique which helps in the regulation, control and direction of the breath.


Pranayama is the fourth limb of Ashtanga yoga, and is also called as the “heart of yoga.”


Pranayama is a complete science in itself, and been practiced by the Indian sages since hundreds of years. In today’s modern world, pranayama holds great importance since it is helpful in the treatment of various ailments. Pranayama is a powerful healing tool, and a great stress buster. It helps in removing toxins from our body, and completely rejuvenates it. Moreover, pranayama helps in increasing our concentration power, and thus enhances our productivity.
